Content Area: Science (SC 2.7.2.A What does a plant need to grow?)
Let’s think about plants…what do they need to grow? Plants need L.A.W.N.S: light, air, water, nutrients, and space to grow. Nebraska’s farmers serve a vital role in meeting plants’ needs because the availability of resources varies from one ecosystem to another. Join us April 6th – 10th for a 10:00 a.m. update as we watch four of Nebraska’s top crops grow in a glove! During our daily update youth can follow along with a science journal to identify the needs of plants growing.
Did you miss this live opportunity? Now you can follow along at your own pace with videos, photos, and a scientific journal!
