Adams/Webster County: One award for $1,000 and two for $500 to Adams/Webster County high school seniors pursuing an agriculture field. Membership preferred. Applications are due March 15.

Antelope County: Two awards for $500 to students in Antelope County that are members of Antelope County Farm Bureau pursuing an ag-related field. Contact the office at (402) 887-4842 or marjorietownsend1942@gmail.com. Applications are due April 1.


Blaine County: One $200 scholarship to be given to a youth who's family are Farm Bureau Members or have intentions of returning to Blaine County after college.   Please Contact Andra Smith (308) 834-3207 or smithca2011@outlook.com.


Boone County: Two awards for $500 to Boone County high school seniors. Applications are due April 1.

Buffalo County: Seven awards for $750 to residents of Buffalo County high school seniors. Preference will be given to those pursuing an agriculture field and are members of Buffalo County Farm Bureau. Please contact Sarah Everett at (308) 234-2222 with any questions. Applications are due April 1.

 

Butler County: One $300 award for seniors in high school in Butler County. While not required, those pursuing an agricultural field are preferred. Membership not required. Applications are due the first Friday in April. Contact Marilyn at ralph.carleo@fbfs.com with questions.

 

Cass County: Two awards for $500 to Cass County high school seniors pursuing an agriculture field. Membership required. Applications are due March 1.

Cheyenne County: One award for $1,000 to Cheyenne County high school seniors and college students. Membership required and preference will be given to those pursuing an agriculture field. Applications are due March 1.

Cuming County: One award for $500 and one award for $300 to a graduating high school senior. Membership required. Applicants pursuing an ag-related field will be preferred. Contact Stan at 402-687-4141 or orstan.wegner@fbfs.com. Applications are due April 1.


Custer County: Custer County Farm Bureau is offering scholarships available to high school seniors and current college students who:

  • Lived in or attended school in Custer County, Nebraska
  • Are enrolled in an agriculture or related field, and
  • Are members of Custer County Farm Bureau.

Applications must be postmarked no later than April 7.

Award:  Numerous scholarships of no less than $500.00 each

Frontier County: Two awards for $500 to Frontier County high school seniors. Membership required and preference will be given to those pursuing an agriculture-related field. Applications are due March 15.


Hall County: Scholarships of up to $1,000 for students who (1) live in or attend school in Hall County, Nebraska, and (2) plan to pursue a course of study and career related to agriculture in Nebraska. Membership in Hall County Farm Bureau is not required to apply. Hall County Farm Bureau Members will receive preference. Applications due April 1.

Hamilton County: $500 award.


Hayes County: One award for $200 to Hayes County high school seniors pursuing an agriculture field. Membership required. Applications are due April 1.

Howard County: One award for $500.00 to a graduating senior in Howard County or whose family is a member of Howard County Farm Bureau and who is pursuing an ag-related field. Contact Marjorie at (308) 754-4612 or marjorietownsend1942@gmail.com. Applications are due April 14.


Jefferson County: One award for $500 to Jefferson County high school seniors pursuing an agriculture field. Applications are due March 1.

Kearney/Franklin County: Four scholarships for $250 each to graduating high school seniors in Kearney or Franklin County. While not required, applicants that are members of Kearney/Franklin County Farm Bureau will be preferred, as will those pursuing an ag-related field. Kimball/Banner County: Awards and amount of scholarship is subject to change. Kimball/Banner County high school seniors in the upper half of their class pursuing an agriculture field. Applications are due March 15.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln for students that are residents of Lancaster County:

  • Two ($1,000 each) scholarships per year for each grade level (8 total scholarships)
  • Applicants can reapply each year

Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) Scholarships:

  • Two ($1,000 each) scholarships

Southeast Community College Scholarships:

  • 2 scholarships for each campus: Beatrice, Milford, and Lincoln (6 total)

Merrick County: Three scholarships for $500 each to graduating high school seniors in Merrick County. Those that are members of Merrick County Farm Bureau will be preferred. Contact the county Farm Bureau office at (308) 946-3893. Applications are due March 14.


Nance County: Two awards of $400 to Nance County high school seniors with at least an 80 percent average GPA. Preference will be given to members. Applications are due April 1.


Nemaha: Two awards per Nemaha County high schools (Auburn Public and Johnson Brock) for $400 each to graduating high school seniors in Nemaha County that are members of Nemaha county Farm Bureau and are pursuing an ag related field. Pierce: One $1000 award.


Platte: Four awards for $500 each to graduating high school seniors in Platte county. Contact the office at (402) 562-7777. Applications are due April 15.


Polk: Two $500 awards.


Rock: One $100 award.


Saline: Two awards for $500 to Saline County high school seniors with an average 2.5 GPA pursuing an agriculture field. Membership required. Applications are due March 15.

Scotts Bluff: One Larry Birdsall Memorial Scholarship $1,000 and one $500 sing scholarship to Scotts Bluff County high school seniors or current college students. Membership required. Applications are due April 15.

Thayer: One $500 scholarship to Thayer County area High School seniors. Those who are pursuing an ag-related field of study and whose parents are Thayer County Farm Bureau members will be preferred.

Washington: Four $1,000 awards for Washington County high school seniors. Applications are due March 4.


Wayne: Two $1,000 awards to graduating high school seniors pursuing an ag-related field. Applicant must be a child or grandchild of a Wayne County Farm Bureau member or a member themselves for a minimum of a year. Applications are due April 1.
