AgMag

Nebraska Agriculture in the Classroom is pleased to provide fourth-grade classrooms with AgMag. AgMag is an exclusive resource for Nebraska fourth-grade classrooms and aligns with content area standards for language arts, social studies, and science.
AgMag can enhance classroom learning as a large class discussion piece, an activity for small groups or individuals, or an at-home enrichment resource. Each issue of AgMag has a corresponding Teacher’s Guide that contains classroom integration ideas, Nebraska content area standards connections, and a glossary.
Why AgMag? Agriculture connects people. Farms and ranches are everywhere in our nation. Agricultural businesses are in towns, cities, and communities in every part of Nebraska. In Nebraska, agriculture creates one in four jobs, which fuels the economy. Without agriculture, we wouldn’t be able to feed, clothe, and fuel the world. The bottom line: agriculture is an important industry for all of us!
