Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation began in the Fall of 2013. The foundation’s flagship program, Nebraska Agriculture in the Classroom, includes classroom teaching, print and online educational resources, the Ag Pen Pal Program, AgMag, field trips, and classroom grants.
Additional outreach includes consumer engagement led by the NEFB Promotion and Education Committee and scholarships and awards that support students, teachers, and leaders in Nebraska agriculture.
We will engage the public, private and state educational leaders along with agricultural stakeholders to inform all Nebraskans on the importance of agriculture and will develop strong agricultural leaders to ensure the future of agriculture.
The mission of the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation is to engage youth, educators, and the general public to promote an understanding of the vital importance of agriculture in the lives of all Nebraskans.
